Gallon - MIL-PRF-24635 Rev F Coating Systems, Weather-Resistant, Exterior Use
This specification establishes the performance requirements for weather-resistant coating systems for use on primed, smooth metal, glass reinforced plastic (GRP), wood and plastic/composite exterior surfaces (Non-QPL Version).
Type, Class, Grade and Fed-STD 595 Color Number are required for this specification:
Type II - Standard durability coatings with Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Content not greater than 340 grams per liter (g/L) [2.8 pounds per gallon (lb/gal)]
Type III - Standard durability coatings with VOC not greater than 250 g/L (2.08 lb/gal) - (Colors restricted to semi-gloss or flat)
Class 1 - High gloss, not less than 85
Class 2 - Semi-gloss, 45 to 60
Class 3 - Low gloss, not greater than 12
Grade A - Standard pigmented
Grade B - Low solar absorbent
Composition 1 - Single Component
