MIL-W-5044 is a non-slip walkway compound coating for use on exterior aircraft surfaces (Wing Walk).
Type I - smooth and can be applied by brushing or rolling, as well as spraying.
Type II - contains grit for additional non-skid properties and is for brushing and rolling application only.
