This specification covers one grade of acrylic-nitrocellulose gloss lacquer for use as a general purpose exterior protective coating for metal surfaces, and is particularly formulated for resistance to diester lubricating oil.
This specification is canceled and superseded by MIL-PRF-81352.
Superior Coatings of America is still manufacturing this coating and certify it to the cancelled spec.
